I drag myself out of bed,
Get dressed, then eat, and brush my hair,
Riding the bus to the place I dread,
We're on our way, it's almost there.
Now we've arrived at our school
There's my locker, I fight the crowds,
Wish I was out, swimming in a pool,
Sitting outside, staring at the clouds.
I hear the bell, it has rung,
Trudging along to room 208,
The long school day has begun,
I know this day will not be great.
Maybe this day will never end,
I fill up my page with drawings and doodles,
I hope this day is all pretend,
Let's go to lunch and eat some noodles.
